Introducing Marriage’s NEW Hypoallengic Nutri Pressed small animal pellets

21 June 2019

Bursting with tasty ingredients, Nutri Pressed pellets are the exciting alternative to traditional extruded pellets, helping to provide a wholesome, flavoursome, balanced diet for your pet. Nutri Pressed pellets bring together expert nutrition with cool pressing technology, enabling our tasty high fibre ingredients to be pressed into delicious pellets using cooler temperatures. Processing at cooler temperatures helps to retain more of the nutrients which may otherwise be lost during higher temperature manufacturing methods like extrusion. Our gentler cool pressing method helps to retain more of those heat sensitive nutrients, helping to make Nutri Pressed pellets a nutritious choice for your pet.

Guinea Pigs and Rabbits are specialist herbivores called hindgut fermenters that require high levels of quality fibre in their diet to stay healthy. Designed with their health in mind, we have packed our pellets with a variety of delicious high fibre grasses and herbs and formulated them without added grains, they also have the added benefit of linseed and have no added sugar. Our pellets have been designed to help support optimum gut health too, boasting a 43% Total Dietary Fibre (TDF) level as well as having the added benefit of a prebiotic and probiotic* to help keep the very important gut microbial balance in harmony. By carefully selecting our delicious high fibre ingredients, we have helped to ensure that our pellets are not only a healthy choice but are a tasty one too!

* The probiotic is in the Hypoallergenic Nutri Pressed Rabbit pellets only.

Marriage’s WIN New Product Award at PATS Sandown 2019

13 February 2019

The winners of the PATS Sandown 2019 New Product Awards, sponsored by pbwnews, were chosen by a team of expert pet retailers. Their decisions took into account a number of guideline criteria such as product innovation, design, quality, packaging and value for money. Marriage’s entered the Small Animal and Bird Products Section with their Nutri Pressed Guinea Pig Pellets.

On receiving their award the judges had this to say about their exciting new product:

“This is a particularly well thought out product, as it is both grain-free and cold-pressed, meaning that all the nutrients are retained which is key for Guinea Pigs”.

Gemma Gale, who is part of the Marketing team at Marriage’s, collected the award on behalf of the Marriage’s team and had the following to say:

“We are extremely proud to win this prestigious award at PATS Sandown 2019. Our new Guinea Pig and Rabbit Nutri Pressed Pellets are the first of their kind to the market and have been two years in the making. They have been carefully thought out and created with nutritional excellence.”

During the PATS Sandown event, Sam Marriage, director of Marriage’s Specialist Foods, presented a seminar on small animal nutrition. You can view his presentation by clicking here.
