WHM RETURNS POLICY

Damages

Any split or damaged bags on delivery or collapsed pallets need to be notified within 3 business days of the delivery. Please could you contact your Sales Representative / finance@marriagesmillers.co.uk advising of the damage, including the quantity of bags and also photographic evidence of the damage, this will help determine how the damage occurred.

The POD must be marked with the quantity damaged followed by the word 'DAMAGED' and signed by the driver if at point of delivery. If a delivery should arrive at a customer’s site with a bag(s) punctured but clearly the majority of the product is still in the bag & in good condition, then Marriages Specialist Foods would permit a 20% allowance on the original cost of the bag and permit the customer to sell through as normal. If the customer does not feel this is sufficient then the bag(s) are to be returned to Marriages Specialist Foods. A credit note will be issued once the stock is back to our production site.

Shortages

Any pallets or products short supplied need to be notified within 24 hours of the delivery. Please could you contact your Sales Representative / finance@marriagesmillers.co.uk advising of the shortage, including the quantity of bags.

Please could you also mark the POD with the quantity shorted followed by the word 'SHORTED'. This must also be signed by the driver. This will then be investigated with our production site with loading sheets and weighbridge ticket weights.

Container Deliveries

SHORTAGES - Any pallets or products short supplied on container deliveries need to be notified within within 3 business days of the delivery. Please could you contact your Sales Representative / finance@marriagesmillers.co.uk advising of the shortage, including the quantity of bags. Please could you also mark the POD with the quantity shorted followed by the word 'SHORTED’. This must be signed by the driver. Please could you also take a photocopy of the POD or CMR. This will then be investigated & cross referenced against shipping documents.

Incorrectly Despatched Stock

Any incorrectly despatched products received on your delivery need to be notified within within 3 business days of the delivery. Please could you contact your Sales Representative / finance@marriagesmillers.co.uk advising of the product, including the quantity of bags. Please could you also mark the POD with the quantity. You will be contacted by a member of staff at Marriage’s Specialist Foods to advise on an uplift date and when replacement stock will be available.

Quality Issue

AAny quality issues with your stock including sealing issues, product quality issues, labelling errors, or damaged bags found within a pallet, please could you contact your Sales Representative / finance@marriagesmillers.co.uk, 3 Business Days of discovery of the non-compliance (which notification must be provided within the shelf life of those Goods), with details of the issue including the quantity of bags and also, where possible, photographic evidence. You will be advised whether the stock will be uplifted or whether the stock can be disposed of. If stock is to be uplifted back to our production site, please be advised that the credit note will only be issued once the stock is back onsite.

Infestation

Please could you contact your account manager immediately on detection of any infestation of stock including details of the issue and the quantity of bags. Your account manager will advise whether the stock will be uplifted or whether the stock can be disposed of. If stock is to be uplifted back to our production site, please be advised that the credit note will only be issued once the stock is back onsite.

Please be advised that if the above procedures are not followed, your credit request may be rejected.
