Marriages were once again proud to sponsor The East Of England Border & Fife Club Show last month, held at Chelmer Valley High School, Broomfield in Essex.
Founded in 1993, the club is dedicated to the showing and breeding of Border & Fife canaries. They are happy to offer help and advice keeping canaries, with members that have good birds for sales October each year onwards.
This is the 5th year running that Marriage's have sponsored the show.

Marriage's always enjoy the Pats shows... it's the ideal show case for letting the retailers see our huge range of products... and as always a great reason to 'get dressed up'.
This time was no exception with Super Hero Chefs cooking up, Wonder-ful New Products and Incredible Promotions.
The Parrot Nutri Bars, our parrot super food went down a real 'treat' whilst our new handy resalable indoor pouches helped 'seal' the deal and deemed a ‘fresh’ idea!

We had a great weekend at The Pet Show last month, it was the first time at The Stafford Showground and was a great success.
The show as a whole is a great way to get up close to a wide variety of insects and animals, even Lisa braved an encounter with a Mexican Red Knee Tarantula!
We were there to showcase our range of Bird Foods for both indoor and outdoor. We had great feedback on our Parrot range which includes an African Grey mix as well as foods for the larger Macaws. There was a great deal of excitement about the soon to be available Parrot Super Food treat bars!
However the show stopper was the Pick and Mix wild bird food which gave visitors to the stand a chance to create their own wild bird food to treat the visitors to their garden. It was great to see the children get involved and think about the various ingredients and what the birds that visit there gardens would most enjoy. It was lovely to hear stories of the regular Robin visitor or Blackbird that comes for breakfast!
We had just over 40 entries in the crafty corner competition, we had the very difficult job of short listing to the ones that are on the website and the winners will be announced soon.... They were all fantastic, thank you to everyone who took part and all the families that patently waiting for the works of art to have enough glitter and stickers to be applied!
Marriages are proud to announce we will be sponsoring the Aviary section again next year 18th and 19th August 2018.

Earlier this year we ran competition for a stay at the Wolds Edge Holiday Lodge Park.
This weekend Wold's Edge welcomed our competition winners - The Eardley Family - to the park in East Yorkshire. We hope they enjoyed their stay!

The Marriage’s 3 Peak team completed the 3 Peaks Challenge this week, 23rd/24th July 2017. Climbing Ben Nevis at 1,344m, Scafell Pike at 978m and Snowdon at 1,085m.
The aim was to climb all 3 of these peaks in JUST 24 HOURS! This challenge was not only very physically demanding but took a lot of determination and support from others to complete.

Through our recent market research, it is apparent that some owners of bantam hens and mixed flocks prefer a smaller pellet. We have decided to cut our non-GM pelleted feeds shorter in response, to make them appealing to a wide range of poultry keepers.

The 'Humberside Gloster Association' had their yearly show on the 27th November at Eastrington Village Hall and Marriage's were proud to attend and sponsor the event.

There were a bumper number of entries this year, and the quality of the nominations was higher than ever. Appearing on the shortlist is a great achievement.

This week Mr John Cressey invited Marriages round to show his collection of winning rosettes from this year, 800 entries all won on Marriage's seed.

The winners of the PATS Sandown 2015 New Product Awards were chosen by a team of expert pet retail judges, who arrived at the show before 9am on Tuesday, March 17, in order to make their choices from more than 170 new products entered.

The show this year was rehomed, taking place in The Acacia Centre, Annesely Woodhouse. There were 460 entries in total and the winner of best bird in show was Mr Tom Foster and the best novice awarded to Eyres and Son, pictured.
